Web & UI/UX Designer

About The Role

KITSCH is seeking a talented and dynamic Web & UI/UX Designer to join our creative team. This pivotal role involves shaping the visual and interactive experience of our website and digital platforms. The successful candidate will focus on creating compelling, user-friendly designs that captivate our audience and enhance their online journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on web design and UI/UX
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work, including website design, mobile-first design, and UI/UX projects
• Experience in e-commerce platforms and online retail environments
• PREFERABLY, experience within the beauty industry
• Proficiency in Figma for designing layouts, wireframes, and collaborative projects
• Proficiency in Photoshop for image editing, retouching, and asset optimization
• BASIC KNOWLEDGE of HTML/CSS is a plus
• Understanding of A/B testing and user engagement metrics

Responsibilities

• Design a minimum of 10 visually appealing and brand-aligned home page banners each month
• Update category imagery regularly to keep the website current and aligned with industry trends
• Develop imagery and iconography to support various website sections, ensuring consistency and brand integrity
• Lead the creation of wireframes and prototypes to illustrate user journeys and optimize UX/UI
• Generate and optimize assets for responsive design, prioritizing a mobile-first approach for all devices
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Technology to understand project requirements and timelines
• Conduct A/B testing on website designs to evaluate user engagement and implement improvements
• Manage multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery especially during high-traffic seasons
• Stay updated on UI/UX trends and incorporate best practices into design workflows
