UX Researcher (III)
Project Overview
As a User Experience (UX) Researcher, you are an expert in your field. You use your knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods to conduct moderately complex research projects with little-to-no oversight. You are able to communicate their findings clearly and concisely, and your work has a direct impact on product strategy and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Propose ideas to improve products and services through research-driven insights and recommendations.
- Drive user-centric thinking to unblock partners and collaboratively solve constraints in strategy, product or technology.
- Advocate for, and practice, inclusive research and design practices and promote the creation of inclusive products.
- Guide product strategy through research by analyzing, consolidating, or synthesizing what is known about user, product, service, or business needs.
- Create and communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the user and business, partnering with cross-functional teams to extend the impact and visibility of the research.
- Identify, create, and effectively use key insights and metrics to evaluate product, service, and ecosystem impact.
- Utilize broad and deep understanding of the business goals, product ecosystem, user trends, and industry to guide research-driven, user-centric thinking and decision-making.
- Contribute to developing project priorities in alignment with larger project goals, and coordinate allocation of resources within the project.
- Act on opportunities to expand responsibilities within and outside the product team.
- Anticipate and remove roadblocks with the potential to impede progress.
- Conduct research to identify user needs and business opportunities that guide product and business goals by demonstrating comprehensive understanding of and empathy for the user and the business.
- Perform research that increases user empathy and guides user-centric thinking and a vision/strategy that is shared with cross-functional partners.
- Anticipate evolving user needs and research opportunities by evolving or adapting the research strategy for a large or complex research project or program.
- Drive and/or execute comprehensive analysis for complex research projects or programs, such as defining and implementing qualitative or quantitative frameworks, or development and ownership of surveys that define strategic priorities for products across teams.
- Build consensus and influence team to gain support for research-based, user-centric solutions.
- Communicate research insights and recommendations to partners or stakeholders, addressing and anticipating challenges and questions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in UX research.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with user-centered design processes.
- Knowledge of usability testing and user research methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
- Experience with creating and presenting research findings.
- Experience with inclusive research and design practices.

Pay
Pay Range: $108-132 on hourly basis
