About the role

You’ll design meaningful innovations to improve 2.0 billion people's lives. You'll do this by shaping both the customer and the patient experience, translating needs into intuitive, high-impact designs. You won't just design — you'll build. Using AI tools, you'll rapidly bring concepts to life, validating ideas in working prototypes. This is about creating a new way of delivering high quality design. Partnering closely with global cross-functional teams, you’ll design and ship digital propositions that are innovative, safe, scalable and meaningful.

Responsibilities

  • As a User Experience Designer within the Sleep & Respiratory Care Experience Design team, you have the exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping products that will improve the way people sleep, breath, and live.
  • Envision and deliver solutions that align with our business goals while providing safe, intuitive, and delightful user experiences.
  • Conduct and lead analysis of user needs. Create frameworks and interaction concepts across domains. Define role of product within a broader ecosystem.
  • Establish design principles, experience requirements, and guide teams with clarity and accuracy.
  • Work with a cross-functional product development teams, working closely with Marketing to define and verify the experience with customers and patients.
  • Work closely with R&D and developers to ensure the experiences are technically feasible and implemented effectively.
  • Bring key design competencies to the cross-functional team including workflow assessments, design sprint facilitation, concept development, and creation of a consistent brand experience for our customers via use of the Philips Design language.

Requirements

  • Acquired 4+ years of experience in UX/UI Design and have worked on enterprise software and mobile devices.
  • Your skills include: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities balanced with a strong aesthetic and visual sensitivity. AI & prototyping fluency (Vibe Coding).
  • You use AI coding tools (Claude, GPT, VSC, etc.) as a natural part of your workflow as a daily tool to move from concept to working prototype in hours, not weeks.
  • You build, not just spec. You can translate your designs into functional prototypes that demonstrate real interactions, helping developers, stakeholders, and users understand intent and experience ideas before committing to development.
  • Systems thinking. You can hold the full product architecture in your head, understanding how a design change in one area impacts the broader ecosystem of connected devices, apps, and clinical workflows.
  • Storytelling. You can convey your concepts to end users, stakeholders, and senior management. Your portfolio demonstrates how you have used AI fluency to improve and accelerate designs, workflows and interactions - whether through rapid prototyping, generative exploration, or shipping features faster.
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design or UX/UI Design – or another applicable area of technical or design development.

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Can work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment and have worked with the agile development processes.
  • Affection for healthcare and personal health.

Pay

The pay range for this position in Murrysville, PA is $115,000 to $183,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Schedule

This is an office role. You must reside in or within commuting distance to Murrysville, PA.
