About the role
We are seeking a UX Designer with 2–3 years of experience to join our team and play a key role in evolving our design system and creating exceptional user experiences across our products. This is an ideal opportunity for a designer who wants to grow within a structured, design-system-first environment where many foundational decisions are already in place, allowing you to focus on thoughtful design work and meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
- Design interactive prototypes for websites and design-system components and patterns.
- Refine designs based on user testing, feedback, and usability data.
- Iterate on components and patterns to ensure optimal user experiences.
- Guide external designers, promoting our user-experience philosophy, guidelines, and best practices for design-system components.
- Provide design reviews and gather feedback from both internal and external teams to ensure design excellence and alignment.
- Advocate for inclusive design practices, ensuring the system adheres to accessibility standards and meets the needs of diverse users.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the design system, including component guidelines, usage instructions, and best practices to support designers and developers.
- Maintain and evolve our design system in Figma, keeping components, patterns, and documentation up to date.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of UX design experience.
- Must be local to the Columbus, OH area (onsite position).
