UX Design Intern - Fall 2026

About the role

Join the software innovation and design team at Medpace to help drive the company’s software forward in accelerating the global development of safe and effective medical therapeutics. This opportunity is ideal for a creative, curious student interested in UX Design.

Responsibilities

• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups with detailed and scalable visual design specifications for web and mobile interfaces.
• Participate in Agile/Lean UX methodologies.
• Conduct research and evaluate emerging design, technology, industry, and market trends.
• Participate in design planning and strategic phases of projects.
• Pitch new CX ideas backed by strong, well-articulated rationale.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Visual/Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Available to work 40 hours per week in our Cincinnati, OH office.
• Experience defining, developing, and documenting UX design and interaction requirements.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated experience using strategy to solve complex problems.
• Portfolio demonstrating user experience activities, processes, and deliverables.
• Experience with design tools such as Figma or Adobe CC.
