UU Student - Admin/Clerical (Work- Study)

Temporary, part-time student position (up to 10 hours per week) available through the University of Utah Athletic Training program. Candidates must be authorized for federal work-study funding for the 2026/2027 academic year.

About the role

The Athletic Training program is seeking an administrative/clerical student staff member to support program operations, including social media management and classroom maintenance. This position will work closely with program personnel and be supervised by the Athletic Training Academic Program Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage program social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook/Meta) and create content for posting.
• Assist with classroom maintenance, inventory, supplies, and management of the Athletic Training program email inbox.
• Complete additional projects or tasks as assigned based on program needs and goals.

Requirements

• Must be a University of Utah student with a Federal Work-Study Award for the 2026/2027 academic year.
• Familiarity with the Athletic Training program, Master of Athletic Training program, and program personnel.
• Availability to work in-office as needed, based on a schedule agreed upon with supervising personnel.
• Adherence to all program and University of Utah policies and procedures.

Preferences

• Familiarity with social media platforms, including ADA accessibility tools.
• Proficiency in content creation and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Up to 10 hours per week, primarily during the day. Schedule will be determined in coordination with supervising personnel.
