Utility Worker I - Food & Nutrition Services

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the breaking down and cleaning/sanitizing of all patient and retail trays, dishes, bowls, cups, lids, silverware and other tray components. They will also scrape, wash, rinse and sanitize pots, pans and cooking utensils, remove trash and garbage from throughout the department to the debris collection area, clean and sanitize dishroom and pot room equipment and work areas, sweep and mop department floors, and complete department special cleaning assignments.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be able to read, write and speak English (Bilingual in Spanish is encouraged)

On the Job Training

On-the-job training will be provided.

Other Information

• Full-time with benefits - 40 hours per week
• Day shift: 12pm-8:30 pm
• Rotating weekends and holidays
