Utility Worker - Dishwasher

Essential Duties

• Washes and sanitizes all dishes, pots and pans, food carts, and food preparation equipment.
• Empties kitchen garbage/trash and sanitizes containers as needed.
• Sweeps, mops, and foams kitchen floors.
• Maintains cleanliness of all walls in kitchen and serving areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of all floor mats.
• Transports food carts to satellite dining rooms throughout the facility.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all food carts.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dish room.
• Does regular cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment including oven and ranges.
• Affixes to move heavy equipment and furniture when needed.
• Assists in setting up buffets and special functions events.
• Acts as runner backing up food trays and dishes for buffets and special event functions.
• Assists in kitchen when necessary.
