Hourly manufacturing position in the Utilities Support team.
Responsibilities
- Complete all required periodic plant and job-specific training.
- Support all Plant Safety and Security functions to ensure incident-free work.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks on time as directed by Maintenance Manager.
- Participate as an active member in the PSM and SSP Team.
- Support the Utilities team to ensure all regulatory tasks are completed and documented on a log or logbook during work shift.
- Perform required maintenance and troubleshoot problems on all plant systems.
- Perform advanced machine tool operations.
- Support WWTP equipment maintenance to ensure reliable operation.
- Support maintenance on plant boilers and steam system components.
- Troubleshoot Facility HVAC equipment and desiccant control systems.
- Support the test and maintain plant fire system and controls.
- Serve as a Critical valve operator and Critical system controller in emergency situations on all shifts as needed.
- Work collaboratively with mechanics, electricians, supervisors, and production/sanitation personnel.
- Clean, inspect, and lubricate applicable equipment.
- Attend training and/or seminars as necessary to fulfill the plant’s needs as a utility technician.
- Available to work during plant scheduled shutdowns.
- Comply with all Kraft policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Maintain positive rapport with customers, suppliers, contractors, and other Associates.
- Participate on assigned teams and support team decisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
- Adhere to all site rules and ways of working processes and procedures within this role.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory best Practices, timely work completion, and ability to perform or support all duties.
- Participate in the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS).
- Ensure equipment and machinery are cleaned and sanitized according to the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program.
- Ensure all products manufactured comply with the Quality Assurance Program and policies.
- Follow the Kraft Heinz Safety Process to maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all ORM policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform accurate work with attention to detail.
- Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting.
- Preferred knowledge of Pneumatic systems and plant air compressors.
- Qualifications considered include attendance, prior experience and/or education, and past job performance.
- Ability to work on all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Schedule is based on a 7-day/week production; workdays may fluctuate weekly.
Pay
$33.21 - $43.53 per hour
