About the role

Utility Reserves provide entry-level production support for all areas of the Jesup plant, including machines, finishing/warehouse, pulp mill, stores, and utilities. Employees work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, adhering to all safety regulations and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Perform standard housekeeping duties
• Operate and monitor equipment and chemical processes
• Monitor power and recovery boilers
• Assemble line work and inspect products for customer satisfaction
• Adhere to repetitive tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment

Working Conditions

• Exposure to industrial machinery, moving parts, and elevated temperatures
• Required use of PPE, including hard hats, gloves, ear protection, eye protection, and safety shoes
• Physical demands: walking, reaching (including above head), bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling
• Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds

Schedule

Hourly operations positions work a 12-hour rotating swing shift schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
