Utility Project Coordinator
This is a contract position based in Orlando, FL, with a fully remote work arrangement.
About the role
Coordinates contractor job scope work including permits, access, or ROW agreements where applicable. Maintains all trackers and Site Tracker to ensure up-to-date project documentation. Creates folders and collects all necessary documentation to prepare and send Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) packages to contractors. Ensures the schedule, budget, and details of tasks are well organized. Distributes design prints and other necessary working documents. Coordinates all customer implementation activities, including site walk-throughs.
Serves as the point of contact and coordinator with public works personnel, developers, commercial customers, building owners, and utilities on joint trench projects. Performs project closure tasks, including reconciling assets and generating reports to ensure proper project completion. Assists with locating contractors for building issues and confers with Construction department employees to outline work plans and assign duties.
Helps direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget. Reviews status reports and modifies schedules or plans as needed. Prepares project reports for management review. Works with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions of contracts, agreements, and project expectations. Assists with proposal and quote development, including initiating, analyzing, and comparing vendor quotes. Maintains accurate information in systems and project databases, and fosters vendor relationships to optimize service execution. Supports the Construction team in meeting milestones and project-specific requirements, including customer invoicing. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Assist with proposal and quote development, including vendor quote analysis.

- Build and maintain vendor relationships to optimize service execution.
- Support the Construction team in meeting milestones and invoicing customers.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel, reading system maps, PDF drawings, and construction drawings.
- Experience working on a project team and managing milestone execution.
- Self-motivated problem solver with the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and personable.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the position.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00 per hour.
