Responsibilities
- Provides quality workmanship in response to work orders and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Collaborates effectively with coworkers and management to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Makes sure all Energy Center equipment is running smoothly to keep the campus warm and cool.
- Does regular checks and fixes on Energy Center machines to keep them working well.
- Uses a special computer program to help run the Energy Center.
- Keeps track of how much water and gas are used by the boilers and chillers.
- Checks the water and cooling towers to make sure they're working right.
- Stays safe while working in the Energy Center and follows all rules.
- Helps fix problems quickly if there's an emergency.
- Maintains the storage area for parts and supplies.
- Serves as important staff and helps out when needed.
- Looks for ways to make things better and save money.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is nice to have.
- A valid Ohio Stationary Engineer License.
- A valid Ohio High-Pressure Boiler Operator License.
- At least 2 years of related work experience, and 5+ years is even better.
