Engineer, Plant Operations, Full Time Variable

About the role

Under direct supervision of the Plant Operations & Maintenance Manager, this position involves planning, organizing, and coordinating minor projects and general corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment and building systems throughout the PIH Health Hospital campus.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains stationary boilers, chillers, electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the PIH Health Hospital campus.
• Identify potential problems during shift rounds, develop corrective actions, and provide adequate follow through.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Steam license preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience as Operating Engineer.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Maintenance and repair experience of major equipment.
• Valid California Drivers License required.
