Plant Engineering Operations Manager - Full Time

About the Role

Responsible for the effective operation and continuous improvement of Plant Engineering, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining safe, reliable building systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff
• Develop budgets
• Oversee maintenance, construction, and infrastructure projects
• Ensure environmental safety and regulatory compliance
• Manage critical utilities such as HVAC, electrical, water, and medical gases
• Promote energy efficiency and cost savings
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement through strategic planning, employee development, and stakeholder collaboration

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering management
• Preferred experience in large hospital settings
• Knowledge of NFPA, CMS, TJC, OSHA, EPA regulations, and building systems
• Strong leadership, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CMMS, and Building Management Systems
• Certification as a Healthcare Facility Manager (preferred)
