Responsibilities
- Evaluate operational needs at the beginning of each shift and determine which job functions require attention for the day.
- Perform inventory responsibilities including tagging, scanning, locating, and counting bun inventory in both the High‑Bay and Looper areas.
- Operate and monitor conveyors to assist with the movement of foam throughout the High‑Bay and Looper.
- Operate the Looper crane to move, position, and organize foam inventory safely and efficiently.
- Participate in monthly inventory counts, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Fill in for truck line employees and crane operators during absences, maintaining continuity of operations.
- Clear the pour line at the end of daily VISCO pours, ensuring the area is safe, clean, and ready for the next production cycle.
- Support shipping activities such as staging, labeling, pallet movement, and order preparation as needed.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and address issues that arise during the shift.
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards to maintain a compliant and efficient work environment.
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervision based on daily operational needs.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 4AM - 12PM
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6-months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3-months of experience operating heavy machinery, preferred.
Skills
- Ability to assess and prioritize tasks independently at the start of each shift.
- Experience with inventory processes such as scanning, tagging, and cycle counting.
- Familiarity with conveyor systems and material‑handling equipment.
- Ability to operate cranes or willingness to be trained and certified.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced production and shipping environment.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and handle foam products and materials.
- Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
- Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; maintains a clean and organized work environment.
