Utility Miner

Job Requirements

• Capable and willing to learn how to operate and tram all underground diesel-powered mobile production and support equipment including performing the pre-operation checks and services.
• Required to do a risk assessment prior to beginning work as well as a workplace examination and correct or report any potential risks identified.
• Capable of performing scaling in a safe and productive manner using either a high reach manlift or mechanical scaler.
• Able to operate service equipment such as utility loaders, backhoes, tractors, mine trucks, etc., around other employees in a safe manner while performing construction assignments such as building brattices, laying pipe, moving pumps, installing or moving secondary fans and other electrical support and stationary equipment.
• Required to do minor maintenance on equipment and assist maintenance and electrical personnel as required and/or assigned.
• Will do other work as directed by the Underground Mine Foreman and will work in a safe and orderly manner following all company, state and federal rules and regulations.
