About the Role
Responsible for maintenance, up-keep, and contracts for MDI Management properties.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm
Responsibilities
- Certified or can become certified to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, etc.
- Understands Safety principles in areas such as job site safety and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Paints structures, uses hand and power tools, repairs tools and equipment, and performs upkeep on grounds and landscaping.
- Fills in for Battery Changers when needed.
- Assist higher level technicians in maintaining the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program.
- Assist in any project related to maintaining the facilities.
- Attend and successfully complete any training as assigned by management.
- May be required to perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 0 to 1 year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High standard of integrity and professionalism.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to bend, twist, and lift up to 70 lbs. and pass a lifting test.
