Responsibilities

  • Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
  • Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
  • Work independently in the field using a company-provided vehicle.
  • Use best-in-class ticket and claims management systems to ensure clear and complete mark-out services for the excavator or property owner at the work site.
  • Work overtime, weekend shifts, and on-call shifts (including nights and weekends), dependent upon the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, or climbing for extended periods.
  • 1-3 years of assembly experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Windows.
  • Strong math skills and ability to use basic measurement tools (ruler, scale, calipers, tape measure).

Pay

  • The hourly pay range for this position generally ranges between $17.00 - $19.00 Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
