About the role

ELM Utility Services is offering a great opportunity for a Utility Locate Technician in the Scottsbluff, Nebraska area. ELM Technicians ensure that gas, electric, and communication systems are dependable and well-maintained by performing high-quality utility marking during excavation.

Responsibilities

• Accurately, safely, and efficiently locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and sometimes whiskers
• Use the LaunchPoint software system to receive daily tasks
• Complete a route of locate requests each day
• Work on-call rotation and overtime as needed, including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug, Motor Vehicle Record, and background check

Schedule

Working independently outdoors with a company-provided vehicle as your mobile office, you will complete a route of locate requests each day. Overtime and on-call rotations may be required.
