Utility Locate Technician $20.00-$30.00/hr Twin Falls, Idaho

About the role

ELM Utility Services is an EEO employer located in the Twin Falls, Idaho area. We are seeking a Utility Locate Technician to join our team of over 1700 employees nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Complete a route of locate requests each day
• Accurately, safely, and efficiently locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and sometimes whiskers
• Use the mobile work system to receive daily tasks
• Work on-call rotation and overtime as needed, including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug, Motor Vehicle Record, and background check
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license

Pay

Starting wages range from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

This is a Safety-Sensitive DOT position that complies with all Federal Department of Transportation regulations. The use of marijuana is prohibited due to its status as a drug listed in Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act.
