Utility Inspection Technician

RECONN is seeking Utility Inspection Technicians to join their team. They focus on quality and safety in the utility industry and are looking for individuals who are problem solvers, take pride in public safety, and thrive in a fast-paced, exciting work environment.
Responsibilities
- Check gas meters for leaks and corrosion through visual inspection.
- Absolutely ensure all required paperwork and data are completed.
- Identify any abnormal operating conditions during inspections.
- Accurately fill out all forms associated with the inspection visit, which may be electronic or paper.
- Work shifts that include weekends as needed.
Requirements
- Proficient in using current technology, smartphones, and tablets.
- Able to communicate effectively both one-on-one and in groups.
- Capable of working overtime and weekends as required.
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is preferred.
- Able to pass a drug screen.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Able to use simple hand tools.
- Able to read utility maps.

Pay
The starting pay for this position is $24-$32/hr., depending on experience.
Schedule
This is a daytime, full-time position with the possibility of overtime and weekend work.
