Utility Foreman - Texas
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate, and assist in the construction and repair of both overhead and underground distribution.
Respond to and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Provide leadership and training to line and service personnel.
Champion safe work practices and insure compliance to Company Safety Rules.
Work to insure network goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
Organize work and manage multiple task and inputs simultaneously.
Work with others and maintain a positive attitude in extreme working conditions.
Must have a strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and accuracy in order to direct construction/repair crews safely and to construct/restore electric system efficiently.
Absent from their Line Supervisor, assume Line Supervisor's duties.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of line experience or equivalent.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to take and understand directives and complete tasks.
- Required to work safely and follow all Entergy safety policies and procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Strong decision making skills.
- Able to manage multiple activities and changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and dependable team player.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Able to recognize hazards in the workplace and have the ability to mitigate the hazards.
- Able to maintain and care for Company equipment properly and safeguard assets.

- Class A Commercial driver's license.
