Utility Customer Service Rep

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound customer calls
• Assist customers with utility account inquiries, billing questions, payments, and service requests
• Process orders and perform billing calculations
• Dispatch solid waste collection services when needed
• Navigate multiple systems and resources simultaneously
• Research and resolve customer concerns independently
• Utilize knowledge bases, documentation, and training materials to provide accurate information
• Maintain service quality standards and achieve key performance metrics (KPIs)

Requirements

• Strong customer service and de-escalation skills
• Previous call center or high-volume customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and learn complex processes
• Strong computer and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail and accountability
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and resources efficiently
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated distraction-free workspace
• Reliable transportation for occasional onsite requirements
