Utility Assembler Lev I

Full-time direct labor position in East Longmeadow, MA.

About the role

The Utility Assembler Level I performs a wide variety of basic tasks in their home cost-center and supports other cost centers as needed to meet business demands. This is an introductory level intended for employees with no prior manufacturing experience. Level I Assemblers will learn and perform Level 2 tasks as part of their progression to the next level.

Supports and participates in Continuous Improvement, Safety, Quality, and Environmental programs and/or other operational strategies.

Responsibilities

• Fold, assemble, and pack various components into boxes or other containers
• Form and pack cartons or product trays
• Assemble and pack molded components
• Inspect and collate games or puzzles
• Identify defective components or product
• Perform limited material handling duties as needed
• Maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards
• Train other employees as required
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other appropriate work within the plant

Pay
