Utilities Technician

About the role

We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our utilities team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our utility room, monitoring pressure and temp gauges, and performing rounds to check for leaks or abnormal equipment sounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment in the utilities room
• Following an SOP and action plan
• Repair and replace faulty components and parts, like changing seals, oiling and greasing machines, etc.
• Carry 50 lbs. salt bags up stairs to put in softener (only a few times per day)
• Monitor pumps, valves, and other gauges to ensure proper functionality

Qualifications

• Responsible, reliable, and willing to learn
• Mechanical inclination (understand hand tools)
• Able to pass a drug test and background check
• High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred

Pay

$30 - $40 per hour

2nd shift: Monday-Friday and every other Saturday
