Responsibilities
- Inspecting buildings and grounds to ensure compliance with safety and accessibility codes
- Identifying maintenance and repair needs across the property
- Scheduling repair projects, cleaning routines and capital improvements
- Supervising maintenance staff and delegating repair, cleaning and facilities tasks
- Managing service contracts with external vendors
- Creating and monitoring facilities budgets for maintenance, repairs and supplies
- Coordinating repairs
- Establishing and enforcing workplace safety, emergency protocols
Requirements
- Experience with facility maintenance: 5+ years
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous leadership experience
Qualifications
- Advanced mechanical skills
- Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, electrical, and other building systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Great leadership and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of control room operations
- Basic electrical and controls for troubleshooting operations
- Electrical maintenance of switch gears, breakers, panels, motors, etc.
- Microsoft Suite experience (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
