Utilities Field Services Supervisor - Trees

About the role

The City of Redwood City Public Works Services Department invites you to apply for the position of Utilities Field Services Supervisor in the Tree section of the Right-of-Way Division.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate performance of assigned staff
• Schedule maintenance and repair work
• Inspect work for conformance with applicable industry standards and safety requirements
• Coincordinate and inspect the work of contract tree crews
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests
• Participate in emergency and after-hours storm response
• Manage the tree permit program
• Travel among various worksites to direct, supervise, and evaluate work performed in the field
