Job Description and Duties
The Utilities Engineer will conduct engineering, economic, financial, and policy research and write reports. They will also prepare clear, persuasive, and concise recommendations, including explaining research findings and policy recommendations to lay audiences. Additionally, they will convey complex information orally and visually to a wide variety of audiences.
Working Conditions
This position requires travel. Applications must specify willingness to work in either the Los Angeles or Sacramento location.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must have relevant experience and education as outlined in the Class Specification.
Special Requirements
Applicants must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) addressing the following questions:
- Describe your experience conducting engineering, economic, financial and/or policy research and written reports.
- Please describe your experience writing clear, persuasive, and concise recommendations, including the ability to explain research findings and policy recommendations to lay audiences.
