Utah State Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

• Accountable for profitable growth and new business development goals with Independent Insurance Agencies.
• Develops new prospects and identifies emerging distribution opportunities in the territory.
• Develops a Sales and Marketing plan with agency partners which includes sales commitments within a specified timeframe.
• Congducts agency consultations by analyzing specific sales data.
• Serves as liaison for agency and company interaction.
• Provides analysis and assessment of sales results within assigned territory.
• Share responsibility for planning annual objectives for each agency, measuring and monitoring the results, and ultimately exceeding his or her annual objectives for the sales territory.
• Assist with other projects as the need arises.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience required.
• Property & Casualty experience required.
• A minimum of three (3) years Personal Lines/Property & Casualty Insurance Sales or Marketing experience is required.
• Territory Manager carrier experience with existing producer relationships preferred but not required
• The qualified candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding of Personal Lines, as well a thorough understanding of large agency/broker dynamics.
• Superior sales skills and a proven record of influencing others is a must.
• Strong computer skills are needed in order to understand and sell our products.
• Communication and presentation skills must be well developed and proven.
• Computer literate with a good understanding of Internet and agency management systems.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation as well as maintain a good driving record.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience required.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years Personal Lines/Property & Casualty Insurance Sales or Marketing experience is required.
• Skills: Superior sales skills, strong computer skills, communication and presentation skills, and ability to analyze and assess sales results.
