Utah Probate Attorney (Contract and Fully Remote)

About the role

This is a fully remote, part-time contract position for a Utah Probate Attorney. The best candidates will be licensed in Utah, have 5+ years of experience handling probate and administration proceedings, and possess knowledge of local/jurisdictional rules governing the probate process.

Responsibilities

• Handle probate matters
• Complete probate forms and supplemental court filings, including but not limited to Inventory and Appraisal, Accounting, and Final Distribution documents
• Ensure compliance with appropriate forms and filing requirements based on jurisdictional rules

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience handling probate matters
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials
• Outstanding references
• Licensed and in good standing in Utah
• Knowledge of local/jurisdictional rules governing the probate process

Schedule

Part-time, likely 5 to 15 hours per week.

Pay

The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $150,000 to $210,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and candidate preference.
