Probate Attorneys (Contract and Fully Remote)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience handling probate matters
• Knowledge of appropriate forms and filing requirements based on jurisdictional rules
• Experience completing probate forms and supplemental court filings, including but not limited to Inventory and Appraisal, Accounting, and Final Distribution documents
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials
• Outstanding references
• Licensed and in good standing in state of residence

Position Details

• Type of Role: Contract/Engagement
• Schedule: Part-time (likely 5 to 15 hours per month)
• Location: Fully Remote
• Compensation: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $150,000 to $210,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.
• Benefits: Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.

Pay

The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $150,000 to $210,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
