About the role

Join UT Health East Texas, a 424-bed Level 1 Trauma Center in Tyler, TX. This position involves 7am–7pm shifts on a 7 on / 7 off schedule with no procedures required. You will work with advanced diagnostics and technology on site, collaborate with an admitting physician, and serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, residents, fellows, and other team members. Providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding for better work-life balance and revenue.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Internal Medicine
  • Family medicine-trained physicians will not be considered
