UT Engineer
About the role
Eddyfi Technologies is seeking a UT Engineer to join our team in State College. We offer high-performance non-destructive testing solutions for the inspection of critical components across various industries.
Responsibilities
Design and develop Ultrasound transducer and Wedges for Non-destructive applications;
Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions tailored to their specific requirements;
Collaborate with internal teams to tackle complex technical issues and ensure an optimal customer experience;
Provide on-site technical assistance, including troubleshooting and resolving equipment and application-related issues;
Analyze non-destructive inspection data and produce detailed reports presenting results, findings, and appropriate recommendations;
Actively contribute to the development of new product features and improvements by offering feedback and suggestions based on customer feedback and your technical expertise;
Support the sales team during client meetings to present products and applications;
Provide expert user judgment and analysis during various project stages;
Manage costs, delivery timelines, and technical requirements related to project delivery in accordance with quality system processes and procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a related field;
Two to four years of relevant experience;
Knowledge of the NDT market (a plus);
Strong Mechanical design skills (acoustical a plus);
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills;
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, train staff, and collaborate with internal teams;
Outstanding communication skills to write clear and concise technical reports;
Aptitude for working under tight deadlines and managing priorities;
Self-motivation, keen attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality work;
Availability for frequent national and international travel as required by project needs.
