About the role

Eddyfi Technologies is seeking a UT Engineer to join our team in State College. We offer high-performance non-destructive testing solutions for the inspection of critical components across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Ultrasound transducer and Wedges for Non-destructive applications;

  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions tailored to their specific requirements;

  • Collaborate with internal teams to tackle complex technical issues and ensure an optimal customer experience;

  • Provide on-site technical assistance, including troubleshooting and resolving equipment and application-related issues;

  • Analyze non-destructive inspection data and produce detailed reports presenting results, findings, and appropriate recommendations;

  • Actively contribute to the development of new product features and improvements by offering feedback and suggestions based on customer feedback and your technical expertise;

  • Support the sales team during client meetings to present products and applications;

  • Provide expert user judgment and analysis during various project stages;

  • Manage costs, delivery timelines, and technical requirements related to project delivery in accordance with quality system processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a related field;

  • Two to four years of relevant experience;

  • Knowledge of the NDT market (a plus);

  • Strong Mechanical design skills (acoustical a plus);

  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills;

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, train staff, and collaborate with internal teams;

  • Outstanding communication skills to write clear and concise technical reports;

  • Aptitude for working under tight deadlines and managing priorities;

  • Self-motivation, keen attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality work;

  • Availability for frequent national and international travel as required by project needs.
