User Support Specialist III

About The Role

Primarily responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the clinical application interfaces. Troubleshoots desktops/hardware/printer issues.

Responsibilities

• Supports the end-user community in the effective access and use of University Hospital.
• Maintains and troubleshoots HL7 Protocol Application interfaces.
• Performs basic hardware repair.
• Aids in the preparation of documentation and informational materials for non-technical users.
• Accepts the responsibilities of working in a 24/7 environment.
• Provides tier 1 support for Clinical Application, and other ancillary systems.

Qualifications

• Required: Associates Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• One (1) year of experience in use or support of desktop computing.
• Must be proficient in PC support and be able to work in a team environment.
• Effective oral and written communications skills.
• Equivalent experience, education, and/or training (IT certifications) may be substituted for the education requirements.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
