IT Support Specialist III
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on IT Support Specialist who thrives at the intersection of technology, operations, and security. In this role, you’ll be the go-to resource for our Miami office, ensuring systems run smoothly, employees are set up for success, and critical compliance requirements are met. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners like our managed services provider (MSP) to deliver reliable infrastructure, manage access, and support audits—playing a key role in keeping our environment secure, efficient, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Systems Knowledge
- M365 admin
- Powershell scripting
- Vendor & Systems Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison with the MSP and other IT service providers
- Coordinate issue resolution, service requests, and ongoing support needs
- Infrastructure & Office IT Support
- Manage and support IT infrastructure for the Miami office, including network, hardware, A/V, and end-user systems
- Oversee equipment setup, upgrades, and inventory tracking
- Access Management & Security
- Perform periodic user access reviews to ensure appropriate system permissions
- Support identity and access management processes in alignment with company security policies
- Compliance & Audit Support
- Assist with SOC 2 audits, including evidence collection and control validation
- Respond to regulatory and internal audit requests in a timely, organized manner
- Employee Lifecycle Support
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning and deprovisioning system access, hardware setup, and account management
- IT Administration
- Maintain IT documentation, policies, and procedures
- Support general IT administrative tasks and identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, end-user support, and access management
- Experience in the financial services industry is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 is preferred
- Experience working with third-party IT vendors is a plus
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Must be self-driven and a team player
Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (MS-900, AZ-900, MD-102)
- AWS/Azure Associate-level
Skills
- Strong IT support and systems administration skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Experience with financial services industry compliance
- Experience with third-party IT vendors

Pay
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 40 hours weekly, or as otherwise arranged with the manager of the department.
