User Experience UX Designer
Responsibilities
- Create intuitive, user-centered experiences for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams throughout the design lifecycle.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into simple, elegant user experiences.
- Advocate for UX best practices and contribute to a consistent design system.
- Analyze user feedback, behavior, and data to continuously improve digital products.
- Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of UX design experience focused on digital products or equivalent.
- 1+ year of UX experience for touch-based mobile interfaces.
- An online portfolio showcasing design thinking leading to innovative solutions.
- Experience with most aspects of a user-centered design process, including user research, developing user flows, creating wireframes, and building interactive prototypes for testing.
- Proficient in design tools like Figma.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using AI-powered tools or workflows (professionally or independently) to support design, research, or problem-solving, with an interest in applying emerging technologies thoughtfully in client experiences.
- Strong self-management skills and comfort owning work independently.
- The ability to clearly communicate design decisions to diverse audiences.
- Some technical knowledge or experience collaborating closely with engineers is a plus.

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68.00 - $71.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
