About the role

We're looking for a User Research Consultant to join our team on a 12-month contract. This is a great opportunity for an early-career CX, User Research, or UX Research professional who enjoys understanding customer needs, uncovering insights, and turning research and data into meaningful experience improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct traditional CX and user research, using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Analyse customer feedback, research findings, and customer/user analytics to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Create and interpret user flows, journey maps, and experience maps.
  • Support CX measurement programmes, including surveys, feedback mechanisms, CX metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Facilitate workshops, research sessions, journey mapping, and collaborative CX activities.
  • Support the planning and execution of CX improvement projects, translating insights into practical recommendations.
  • Work with business, product, design, and technology stakeholders to improve customer and employee experiences.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years' experience in CX, User Research, UX Research, Customer Research, Service Design, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with CX research and customer feedback analysis.
  • Experience with user flows, journey mapping, research, and analytics.
  • Understanding of CX measurement, surveys, and customer experience metrics.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience supporting or delivering CX projects from research through to recommendations and improvement.
  • Knowledge of Human-Centred Design, Design Thinking, or Service Design.
  • Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience is advantageous.

Skills

Experience with tools such as Qualtrics, Medallia, SurveyMonkey, Figma, FigJam, Miro, Power BI, Tableau, Jira, or Confluence is beneficial.
