User Experience Designer

About the role

Epic is seeking a UX Designer to lead the experience and visual design for several development teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with end-users to understand their needs, conduct research, and collaborate with developers to create intuitive and beautiful applications.

Responsibilities

• Meet with end-users to establish an understanding of their unique needs
• Research users' workflows and observe applications in use
• Work alongside developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture
• Demonstrate ideas through various levels of finish including sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

Requirements

• Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
• Bachelor's degree or greater
• Relocation to the Madison, WI, area (reimbursed)
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Qualifications

• Strong user experience and visual design skills
• Experience with user-centered design techniques
