Used Vehicle Technician

About the role

Lithia Hyundai of Fresno is seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Technician to join their expanding reconditioning team. The dealership is located in Northern California and is the #1 Hyundai dealer in the region.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on used vehicles of all makes and models.
• Complete reconditioning work, including brakes, suspension, steering, engine, electrical, HVAC, and general mechanical repairs.
• Perform maintenance services and manufacturer-recommended repairs.
• Identify needed repairs and accurately document findings.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure vehicles meet dealership standards.
• Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience, preferably in a used vehicle or independent repair environment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working on multiple vehicle brands.
• Ability to perform repairs independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Skills

• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
• Hyundai experience is a plus but not required.

Pay

• Flat Rate Position
• Eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Bonuses based on Production Productivity.

Schedule

• Flat Rate Position
