About the Role

A Ryder Vehicle Sales Customer Service Representative I is responsible for assisting our RVS customers with pre and post-purchase inquiries. This role works cross-functionally across Sales, Operations, and Asset Management, requiring excellent customer communication skills. The position handles inbound/outbound Retail Vehicle Sales support-related calls, emails, and texts, maintaining ownership of customer inquiries until resolution.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 7:00pm

Pay

Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr (bilingual candidates earn $19.00/hr)

Training & Work Location

3 weeks of remote training, followed by remote work. Start date: September 21, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a great customer experience, resolving concerns, issues, and disputes to meet customer expectations.
• Execute customer communication protocols.
• Handle rental sales and the sales process for inbound calls and outbound solicitation to increase leads and new customers.
• Manage rental truck inventory levels by coordinating with Maintenance and Asset Management.
• Enhance productivity through effective scheduling and planning.
• Generate purchase/repair orders and maintain files.
• Contribute to cost containment through parts inventory planning and warranty management.
• Ensure compliance with company, local, state, federal, and regulatory agency policies.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• One (1) year or more in sales and/or customer service required.
• Not DOT regulated.
