Used Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on used vehicles, including diagnostics, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
• Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to provide timely service and communicate findings.
• Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Stay current with manufacturer service bulletins and automotive technology updates related to pre-owned vehicles.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an automotive service technician, with a focus on used vehicles preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Able to use diagnostic tools and follow technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid automotive technician certification is a plus.
• Able to work flexible hours as needed.
