Used Car Reconditioning Technician

Edmond Hyundai and Genesis of Edmond are two of the fastest-growing automotive dealerships in the Oklahoma City metro area. We take pride in delivering high-quality pre-owned vehicles to our customers. We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Used Car Reconditioning Technician to join our expanding reconditioning team.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough multi-point inspections on incoming used vehicles - Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues (brakes, suspension, engine performance, etc.) - Complete maintenance services (oil changes, tires, fluids, filters, alignments, etc.) - Communicate with service advisors and reconditioning managers on repair needs and time estimates - Document all work performed accurately and efficiently - Ensure all vehicles meet dealership and manufacturer reconditioning guidelines - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

- 2+ years automotive technician experience preferred - ASE certifications a plus (not required) - Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills - Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks - Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
