Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle evaluations to identify necessary repairs and improvements.
  • Perform mechanical repairs, including brake work, engine diagnostics, and suspension adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the sales and service departments to prioritize and complete vehicle reconditioning tasks efficiently.
  • Execute detailed cleaning and cosmetic enhancements, including exterior washing, waxing, interior vacuuming, and upholstery treatment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Accurately document all inspection and repair activities for quality assurance and reporting purposes.
  • Test drive vehicles to verify repair work and ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to vehicle maintenance and reconditioning.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a deep understanding of vehicle systems and components.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify even minor defects or issues.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
