Used Car Reconditioning Technician
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
- Perform thorough inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across domestic and import brands
- Recondition pre-owned vehicles to meet high retail-ready standards
- Handle everything from light mechanical work to deeper diagnostic and drivability issues
- Maintain efficiency and quality in a modern, well-equipped service facility
- Work closely with service and sales teams to keep the reconditioning process flowing smoothly
Requirements
- A High School Diploma
- 2+ years of used vehicle reconditioning experience, ASE certifications, brand certifications, or a combination of all
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Fast learner
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Team player
- Computer literate
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license
