Used Car Buyer - BMW of Monrovia

Salary: $22/hour plus commission, with on-target earnings of $60,000–$80,000/year based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Call, follow up, and schedule appointments for customers to appraise and purchase their used vehicles.
• Utilize CRM for prospecting and lead generation.
• Interface with current used vehicle owners from appointments and dealership service drive to purchase their vehicle.
• Approach, greet, and engage dealership customers to appraise and offer to purchase their current vehicles.
• Appraise used vehicles by asking questions, taking pictures, and inputting vehicle data into the automated inventory management system.
• Work with Sales Managers to build and propose an offer to the seller.
• Introduce guests to sales department personnel to sell them a new vehicle after purchasing their existing vehicle.
• Review monthly goals with management to better utilize time and plan more effectively.

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years in a Used Car Buyer role in a dealership setting or vehicle procurement in the automotive rental industry (preferred).
• High level of customer service and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Ability to meet company’s production and quality standards.
• Outstanding computer skills.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.

Pay

Base hourly compensation of $22/hour plus commission based on the value or amount of closed sales (no upper limit). Production bonus may also be paid based on individual or team performance (no fixed upper limit).
