USED CAR AUTOMOTIVE RECONDITIONING SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Pay range of $50,000 to $125,000 based on experience.

About the Role

The H+H Group is growing our team at the Omaha Recon Center (ORC), a state-of-the-art reconditioning facility in the Steel Ridge Auto Mall. We are looking to add a Flag Hour, Used Car, Automotive Reconditioning Service Technician to focus on basic repairs and light-duty maintenance. This role supports three high-volume brands in a 17,000 sq. ft. facility averaging over 400 used car repair orders per month, with a focus on time-to-market.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs, including tires, brakes, alignments, batteries, shocks, and struts.
• Conduct Certified Pre-Owned Inspections, replacing filters and wipers as automated.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems efficiently and safely.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time.
• Operate necessary equipment, both manual and power-driven, in a safe manner.

Schedule

Option of Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• Experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Ability to read, comprehend information, and perform calculations.
• Proficiency in accessing, inputting, and retrieving computer information.
• Physical ability to perform bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, and crouching.
• Safe operation of motor vehicles, including manual, automatic, and EV transmissions.
• Ability to lift/move items up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
