Here, You Will Make An Impact By Supporting the Project Manager in identifying the most cost-effective technical solutions and driving estimate, schedule, and change management processes
Leading and coordinating all technical project work, including front-end engineering and design activities, to ensure robust, safe solutions
Defining Basis of Design (BOD) and Engineering package deliverables
Specifying major equipment and overseeing the development of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and start-up/commissioning plans
Maintaining effective communication and alignment with the project team and project owners throughout project execution
Driving compliance by understanding applicable codes and guidelines to ensure designs meet EHS standards
Skills and expertise required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start)
- Seven (7) years of capital project management experience and involvement in developing technical design and construction packages in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical engineering degree
- Track record of successful project execution in a stage gate capital deployment model
- Prior experience with webline, converting, automation, and/or discrete part handling equipment
Work location
Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
Pay and benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is $145,676 - $178,049, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
