Position Summary

TourToTeach, a role within the Walmart organization, involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes touring stores, providing feedback, communicating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. The role also involves introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicating business objectives to teams.

  • Provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience.
  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area.
  • Reviews and evaluates PL Profit Loss statements.
  • Manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Maintains and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
  • Supervises and develops opportunities for hourly associates.
  • Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, provides recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace.
  • Serves as a supervisor and development opportunity for associates.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00.
  • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
  • Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure.
  • Minimum Qualifications: 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
