Position Summary

TourToTeach as a leader and trainer, actively listens to associates, provides feedback, and collaborates across all levels to improve store operations. Manages customer service initiatives and ensures customer satisfaction through the One Best Way service model.

What you'll do...

  • Tour stores and provide training to associates.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations.
  • Utilize technology and business initiatives to lead company change efforts.
  • Provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
  • Communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs.
  • Develop and implement action plans to resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues.
  • Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL Profit Loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Maintain effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Implement action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
  • Supervise and develop opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset.
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
  • Identifies and addresses improvement opportunities and demonstrates adaptability.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Respects individuals, builds high-performing teams, embraces differences, and creates a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
  • Works collaboratively, builds strong and trusting relationships, communicates with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence.

  • Minimum qualifications: 2 years of college, 1 year of retail experience and supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience and supervisory experience.
  • Preferred qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, general work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

    Pay

    The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location), Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges), State Pay Differential.

    Qualifications

    Additional Information

    • Facilities selling firearms require successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
    • Facilities selling only ammunition and having state-specific requirements may require a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility.
    • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
