Position Summary

TourToTeach, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of belonging.

What you'll do...

  • Tour stores and provide feedback to associates.
  • Collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations.
  • Utilize technology and business initiatives to lead company change efforts.
  • Provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
  • Communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and Community Outreach Programs.
  • Develop and implement action plans to resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues.
  • Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL Profit Loss statements.
  • Manage and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Maintain effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
  • Supervise and develop opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Build high-performing teams, embrace differences, and create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
  • Work collaboratively, build strong and trusting relationships, communicate with impact, energy, and positivity, and motivate and influence others.
  • Attract and retain the best talent, empower and develop talent, and recognize others' contributions and accomplishments.
  • Act with integrity, maintain and promote the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance, and hold oneself and others accountable.

  • Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.
  • The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location), Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges), State Pay Differential, and Live Better U education benefits.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 2 years’ of college; OR
    • 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR
    • 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
